Lane's Bakery & Gifts has a long tradition of serving the Madison area with
uncommonly delicious treats. Dedication to serve only the finest quality items
and to deliver the best customer service has always been our mission.
Every item we sell becomes a relationship to our customer, and with that
awareness we have always strived to be the best.

Lane's is  proud to be a 3rd Generation Madison Business. Growing with our
surroundings and relationships we continue into our 4th decade in 2004.

Below is a timeline of our history and accomplishments.

1954 Charles & Flay Lane opened Lane's Bakery on University Ave.
1957 Moved to 602 South Park.
1961 Jerry & Nancy Lane ownership.
1975 National Baker of the Year.
1987 Built our current location.
2001 Inducted into Wisconsin Bakers Hall of Fame.
2002 Wisconsin Baker of the Month. (Twice)
2003 LanesBakeryandGifts.com goes onto the Internet.
2003 Chuck & Mike Lane takes ownership.
